It was 1975 when Giuseppe Tomatis founded Socado in beautiful Verona and specialized in chocolate products, starting production with spreadable creams and gradually expanding the range over time with eggs, pralines and bars.
His Piedmontese origins led him to follow in the tradition of Turin's great maitres chocolatiers who have helped spread the art of chocolate in the area since 1560.
On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, Socado is dedicating a new line "THE FOUNDER" to Giuseppe Tomatis, featuring two new, highly selected products that represent His essence: His origins, strong ties to tradition, and foresight.
The chocolate with whole hazelnuts, a symbol of its Piedmontese roots, whose magic ingredient is the hazelnut.
Dubai style chocolate to symbolize his foresight and vision that led him to pioneer the conquest in the 1970s/80s of foreign markets such as the United Arab Emirates, still unattainable for many.
With the "THE FOUNDER" line, Socado wants to offer not just a product, but alegacy of passion, tradition and at the same time future vision that still inspires today.
